Department of Mechanical Engineering

This department has well, qualified & experienced staff. It is equipped with modern laboratories to conduct practicals as prescribed in MSBTE Curriculum. Students undergoing Mechanical Engineering Course have a universal acceptance in the several types of industries. It is factual belief in industrial sector that mechanical engineer is a versatile person. These students prefer to start their career as supervisors on shop floor and acquire managerial positions.

They have voluminous opportunities in Research & Development, Production and maintenance department of the industries they can start their own workshop or industry. They can continue further education to acquire Engineering degree.

It is the branch of engineering that involves the production and usage of heat energy and mechanical power for the design, production, and operation of machines and tools. It is one of the oldest and broadest engineering disciplines.

Our Department has highly qualified and competent faculty members in the areas of CAD/CAM, Pro-E for Solid Modelling and Analysis of Mechanism and Manufacturing, FLUENT for CFD etc.

Mechanical engineers use core principles along with tools like Computer-Aided Design (CAD/CAM) and product lifecycle management to design and analyze manufacturing plants, industrial equipment and machinery, heating and cooling systems, motor vehicles, aircraft, watercraft, robotics, medical devices and more.

Diploma in Mechanical emerged as a field during the industrial revolution in the World. We have tied up with various industries for getting whole knowledge about the subject and transfer of technical Know how and industrial projects.
